Infrared heating manufacturers and experts, Tansun, participated at the North’s largest hospitality trade exhibition, the Northern Restaurant & Bar Show at Manchester Central on 21-22 March 2017.
With over 30 years’ experience in the electrical heating market, Tansun exhibited its range of popular infrared quartz heaters at the show, perfect for providing warmth to bars, restaurants and other hospitality environments. At the show, Tansun focused on its high quality, low glare double heaters, the Bahama Double and Monaco Double. The infrared heaters provide a total heating solution and have become popular for professional sites in need of heat in an entire area.
Tansun has already installed a number of its heating products in and around Manchester such as Manchester Bar & Grill, The Laundrette, Manchester Hall and Australasia restaurant. Tansun have more recently helped improve the alfresco dining experience at Italian restaurant, Piccolino in Manchester. Tansun’s infrared heaters were specified by the Individual Restaurant Company who is also responsible for Piccolino in Alderley Edge. Over 20 of Tansun’s black double infrared heaters and remote controllers were specified for the project as a result of their instant, powerful heat with easy installation.
Each of the Individual Restaurant Company’s restaurants has been designed with distinct characteristics to improve the experience for customers. For Piccolino, it’s most elegant characteristic is the large outdoor area with retractable roof, where Tansun’s Monaco Double Low Glare Heaters and controllers were installed.
As one of Tansun’s main focal points at the Northern Restaurant and Bar Show, the Monaco Double heaters offer increased heating power and coverage as a result of its 3.0kW heating power. The design heats large areas, both indoors and outdoors, and it emits a pleasant, ambient glow with low glare and no diminishing of heat.

Tansun’s Bahama heaters were also at the forefront of the company’s exhibition stand at the show. Bahama is a flexible design easily fitted onto awnings and parasols to become part of their structure. Available in single or double appliances, the stylish heaters can cover an area of up to 22 square metres and have a smooth, parabolic finish with glare-reducing gold reflectors.
