Hospitality Sector Switches on to Outdoor Heating to boost Trade Post-Lockdown

The re-opening of the hospitality sector will start with outdoor areas - that's the news contained in the Government's 4-step roadmap out of lockdown measures.

This news, driven as it is by evidence that outdoor spaces are less problematic for virus spreading, has led many in the sector to prioritise their outdoor areas. And we here at Tansun are experiencing first-hand signs of this increased interest in outdoor spaces.

Over the last few weeks, we have been receiving a growing number of enquiries from bar & restaurant fit-out installation companies. They are being asked to optimise their clients’ outdoor areas and effective heating schemes are seen as part of this.

They and their clients know that the correct heating will mean that people will be happy to stay outdoors for longer periods and into the evenings as a drop in temperature won’t be an issue.
